The Bill (Reg. No. 5531) enhances the
order of submitting licensing documents in the field of protection of animals
against cruel treatment.
Thus, the Bill introduces amendments to the Law "On Protection of Animals against Cruel Treatment" that envisage free issue of a license for the captive breeding of wild animals. The Bill also specifies the terms for issuing the license. Thus, the resolution on the issue or denial of a license shall be passed within a month since the documents were submitted.
The Bill further specifies the authorities of the central executive authority bodies as to the licensing in the field of protection of animals against cruel treatment.
The Committee members believe that implementation of the Bill shall enhance efficient protection of animals in Ukraine.
